Time. Speed at work

Is there a substitute for work? No. There are persons who work, some fast and som not so fast. What I have to try and be is fast at work. I visualise the accelerator pedal in my Alto car when I touch 110km/h. Any work gets done faster when one does t at a brisk pace. Saving time equals making more time to do more productive things.

The only alternative to fast work is slow work! And seeing 70 plus patients in less than 7 hours on a PC based system requires of me to be fast at what I do.

Even household chores, if done fast is of value as that makes more time. A faster internet speed speeds up information transfer and thus, one's knowledge on whatever one is reading up on.

We will live just once. And this is true, the faster we think and act, the more we get done in this lifetime.Time is money and saving it means you have more of it to spend on.

  1. Speed ummm... I am a little worried on your exmaple of driving your Alto car at 110kms/hr and justifying it. In your bid to save time i just hope you dont end up mangled in steel on palm beach road.

Time is money umm... I feel "more free time more money gone". Time is money only if utilised productively. You cannot justify driving at 110kms/hr or zipping past your 70 odd patients to spend time in a mall buying things which you may never have wanted if it was not shown to you.

"Organised" is a better term than "speed"

  2. hmmm...harry, sure driving fast is not gud idea of saving time. But i do agree with the line you ended and i interpret it as - 'Time is money and saving time means you have more time to spend on other stuff/hobby/work that you would otherwise find difficult to manage time for.' This hobby may not necessarily be spending money in malls, but could be music, art, family etc. ;)
